Supabase MCP gives Claude direct access to your Supabase project - table management, data queries, config retrieval. Compared to manually copy-pasting SQL or using the dashboard, this streamlines the feedback loop considerably. I tested it for schema exploration, writing and running queries, and checking RLS policies. It handled all of these well. The auth flow uses your Supabase project credentials, which is straightforward but means you need to be careful about which project you connect it to. Would not recommend pointing it at production without read-only restrictions. For development and prototyping workflows, it is excellent.Apr 10, 2026

Exa stands out from other search MCP servers because of its neural search capabilities. Compared to Brave Search MCP or basic web search tools, Exa returns results that are semantically relevant rather than just keyword-matched. I tested it for research tasks - finding technical blog posts, academic papers, and niche documentation. The results were consistently more on-topic than traditional search APIs. The API key setup is painless, and the MCP integration is clean. Rate limits are reasonable for most agent workflows.
