Turn taking is the part that earns its keep. Dropping a bot into a busy channel and having it stay quiet most of the time is worth more than any of the persona features. Setup is clean and the repo is active. Two reservations: the plugin is MIT but it is a client for a paid API, so the open source label oversells how much you actually own, and streaming has to be off, which is a noticeable change in feel. Worth saying plainly that the goal here is a bot that reads as a person, and that is a call to make deliberately rather than by installing something.Jul 26, 2026
